            Quite an amazing contribution to Lions over 24 years of service!

Gwandalan Spring Festival / 20^th September 2009

Gwandalan Lions have run their third annual Spring Festival which was again an outstanding success. Held on the shores of Lake Macquarie it was wonderful to see another huge crowd on what was a perfect day weather-wise.

The crowd of several thousand was entertained by some great local performers, fifty community and other stalls, jumping castles, climbing wall, a reptile show and some fabulous Mustang cars.

The club donated cheques for $18,846 to 9 local groups including 21 new "state of the art" helmets to the local RFS Brigade. District Governor Marilyn Kinealy has been one of our favorite presenters. The Fair is a huge undertaking for the members who are now planning to see if it can happen again next year.
